Certified recently, ManualMaster passed its ISO 27001 certification audit (the international standard for information security). Achieving ISO 27001 certification is not an easy feat, which is why we are so proud of our achievement. This result says a lot about the quality of our information security. Although we think that the certificate, in addition to the behaviour of our employees, makes all the difference.
Confidentiality, Availability, and Integrity
At ManualMaster we believe in the safe handling of information, in accordance with fixed, clear processes. The ISO 27001 certification proves that we are going about this the right way. ISO 27001 is the standard for information security, providing a framework and setting out the processes and procedures needed to protect information. The aim is to ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information within an organization. This includes protecting personal and/or company data and protection against cyber attacks and theft.
Focus on Raising Awareness and on Behaviour
ISO 27001 sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, executing, checking, assessing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System (ISM). Hugo Bakker, our Security Officer: “Our service is inextricably linked with data processing, which explains why data and information security are so crucial in our business. By achieving ISO 27001 certification, we have shown that we control the information process well and that all data is properly secured. We are focussing on raising awareness about data security and on behaviour, by actively involving our employees. We achieve this among others with our own ManualMaster software. It helps to have an excellent, suitable system available, obviously.”
