Spring Release ’26: Trevally 3.06 is Live!

At ManualMaster, continuous improvement is at the heart of everything we do. Regular Trevally updates are essential: Not only for introducing new functionality, but also for maintaining security, performance, and an optimal user experience. We release two major updates each year, and with the Spring Release ’26, Trevally 3.06 is now available.

Why Updating Matters

The importance of software updates is often underestimated, but nowadays it is more critical than ever:

  • Security & Compliance
Updates continuously address vulnerabilities. Outdated software remains one of the leading causes of data breaches and cyber incidents.
  • Improved Performance & Stability
Bug fixes and optimizations result in a faster, more stable system and reduce user frustration.
  • New Functionalities
Both major and minor enhancements can have a significant impact on daily operations and productivity.

With this in mind, we guided our customers through the developments in Trevally 3.05 and the latest version, 3.06, during Academy Week.

Looking back: Trevally 3.05

Although many customers were already familiar with this release, several features still generated enthusiastic responses.

Key Highlights:

  • Q-Learning – A powerful way to organize knowledge transfer and training, now enhanced with mentors and expiration dates.
  • Risk Management – Expanded with images, formatting options, and centralized data management within sub-risks.
  • Roles and Permissions – Greater control, simpler authorization management, and improved security.
  • Trevally Online & MS Office Integration – Open and edit documents such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio directly from the browser.
  • Enhanced User Experience – A more modern and faster interface, multi-select options, and an improved text editor in Trevally Online.

Even users who were already working with version 3.05 found it valuable to revisit these features and reaffirm their benefits.

Niew: Trevally 3.06

With version 3.06, we continue building on previous improvements while introducing several important innovations. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with particular attention given to the following developments:

AI Search and AI Integrations

Artificial Intelligence is playing an increasingly important role within Trevally. This includes AI Search as an integrated solution, as well as opportunities to leverage data through AI integrations and APIs, or export information to tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

With Trevally 3.06, we introduce AI Search. Users can ask questions in plain language, and the AI will analyze the available quality documentation, procedures, and organizational knowledge to provide an immediate answer, including source references. AI Search operates entirely within your own technical environment. Your data remains within your organization and is never shared with other customers.

For ManualMasterCloud users, AI Search will become available in the future. In addition, we will soon launch AI Search within our Academy platform.

Organizational Units in Trevally Online

More and more administrative functionality is now fully available within Trevally Online. With this release, the management of people, job roles, departments, and groups has also been moved to the online environment.

Administrators can now centrally manage users, authorizations, and access rights from a single web-based platform. New filtering, import, and export capabilities make it easier to manage large numbers of users. In addition, new tools provide immediate insight into the documents available to each organizational unit. This saves time and helps organizations maintain secure user management and compliance.

Faster Access to Documents, Procedures, and Information

The search functionality in Trevally Online has been significantly enhanced. Not only document titles but also the full content of documents, definitions, people, and other components of the quality management system are now indexed.

As a result, users can find information much faster and benefit from a new way of navigating the platform. Instead of browsing through menus and folders, users can search directly, find relevant results instantly, and navigate straight to the required document, folder, definition, or organizational unit.

Smarter Reporting, Dashboards, and Management Information

Reporting capabilities have also become more powerful and flexible. Reports can now automatically adapt to the logged-in user. This means employees only see information relevant to their role, department, or location—and in their preferred language.

These dynamic reports make management information available more quickly and ready for immediate use in decision-making. At the same time, administrators spend less time maintaining multiple separate reports. A single intelligent report can serve multiple users, simplifying administration and creating more time for the further development of the quality management system.

A Future-Proof Platform for Quality Management

In addition to these visible innovations, Spring Release 3.0.6 includes dozens of improvements related to performance, stability, security, and ease of use. Trevally continues to invest in a modern platform that supports every aspect of quality management. Organizations benefit from a single integrated solution for managing processes, documents, risks, audits, training, and quality records.

Now available

Spring Release 3.0.6 is available today. As with every release, we recommend that organizations update promptly to take immediate advantage of the latest functionality, enhanced security, and optimal performance.
